If it's Friday - have some Community Fun!

Although you might forget it sometimes, planning your wedding should be fun. There are lots of helpful faces on our forums to help you through all the good times (and the more stressful times too) and we think that our cryptic quiz, chosen each week by Margo, the WeddingPath Monkey, is a good way for beginners to get involved and say hello. All our more experienced hands will rely on you for what you see - please keep reading. You will hopefully also have some fun too.

How Does It Work?

Underneath each forum posting on our main chat forums, you will see a cryptic quiz clue (see the picture above). There are 14 clues in total each week BUT (and here's why it's a team effort) each person can ONLY SEE 1 CLUE each hour. The clue you see depends upon how many posts you have made on the forum, so Mands11980, Orlita, RacheyRoo, or Bev06 (who are old hands at beating Margo in the Cryptic Quiz) will see a different clue to you - you need to tell them what clue you see!

Working together as a community in this way can be fun. It will hopefully also serve as an ice breaker for those of you who may not have posted before. Margo will create the special Cryptic Quiz topic on the Wedding Talk forums so why not join in?

Ok, so here are some clues from a past week:

grumpy bath hero twisted

Suspect verbal name

All the above clues lead to the answer "The Film, Casablanca", and you can read this post to find out why. That said, getting the correct answer is the easy part - all you members (together) then have to explain what each clue means...

The cryptic quiz is meant to be fun (and we haven't seen any other sites do it). It's also a reason for new members to say hello - remember others may not be seeing the same clues as you do!

Finally, the clues you see will eventually change - so don't worry if you don't get it immediately! GOOD LUCK...and have fun.
