Barbara’s top tips
I know that in planning your wedding there are endless ‘to do’ lists. Here are a couple of details that can get easily overlooked.
◊. Check the delivery time of the wedding flowers. And make sure there is someone around to receive them. Remember you might be at the hair salon on your wedding day morning.
◊. Once you have decided who is going in which car to the church, remember to plan the return journey. Couples often forget to plan which cars are taking who from the church to the reception.

Nice idea…
I recently suggested to a bride that she contacted cosmetic companies. She wanted miniature bottles of perfume as table favours. Imagine her delight when a large box of 60 miniature perfumes arrived in the post today. Perfect favours – and no cost!

Day in the life of wedding planner
For those curious about the profession of wedding planning it is such a diverse role. One week we are at the National Wedding Show in London or Birmingham, the next at a client’s wedding in London and then overseas helping couples find a location in Spain to get married. It’s hard to catch your breath sometimes but it is immensely satisfying.
