Ugh. I’m sorry. Don’t be expecting a lot from me this week. I’ve just got back from my hen do and thought that I’d share some of it with you (the bits I can remember anyway…) before I have to return to my darkened room with an aspirin and cold compress.

I think there was food. I KNOW there was alcohol. And there was also dancing. Lots of dancing. And L-plate wearing. And general girly merriment. It was brilliant!

Girls are so good at making a lovely fuss of each other and getting into the spirit of hen parties. And there’s so much choice these days too, from wild weekends on the Costa Brava to a chilled out ladies’ day at the races – but whatever you decide to do for yours, you can guarantee that everyone will be up for a giggle. So enjoy yourselves and let us know what mischief you got up to – and don’t forget the Alka-Seltzer!

That’s about all I can manage right now. If anyone needs me, I’ll be lying down…
