Adding an RSVP page 1491 views

WeddingPath’s easy-to-use RSVP facility enables you to collect all your guests’ RSVPs online and be notified by email as they reply!

The first thing to do is to add the relevant page to your weddingpath:

1. Make sure you’re logged in to WeddingPath, and navigate to the Edit My Site page from the pink menu bar.

2. Click on ‘add another page’, then ‘add an RSVP page’.

3. This will generate a password. Be sure to remember this (or change it to one you will remember). It’s the password that will enable guests to RSVP, so make sure you inform them of it. You may want to include it on your wedding invitations, along with the web address of your site.

4. If you want to, you can amend the Visitor Greeting (the text a guest sees that asks them to let you know if they’re coming).

5. Amend the Visitor Options text, making it as clear as possible exactly what information you want your guest to provide (eg you could include food choices and ask them to select their preferences).

6. Choose or upload an image that will appear on the RSVP page of your weddingpath.

7. Click on ‘save and continue’. This will take you back to the ‘edit site’ page, in case you want to make any further edits to your weddingpath.

8. Check your weddingpath add see that the RSVP page now appears on it! Click on the RSVP link to view the text that guests will see. Go back to ‘edit my site’ to make any changes.

You can sort your RSVPs is various ways from date of responses to alphabetical order of the guests name or even acceptances or rejections. You can do this by clicking on the sort results box.

Your RSVP page can store all your RSVPs – from those guests who log onto your wedding website and those who don’t have internet access. If one of your guests hasn’t got internet access (or scared of a mouse) then you can manually update your list yourself based on his/her response when you receive the RSVP through the post or contact them by clicking on the click here facility.
