They Met Stephanie and Martin met while working for the same company with Stephanie based in Ireland and Martin in London. When Martin went to work in Ireland, their relationship blossomed. Back in the UK, Martin proposed in their new London home. After having made her breakfast in bed he popped the question and presented her with a stunning ring.

Wedding Venue The couple were married in County Kildare in Ireland, where Stephanie had once lived. The ceremony was held at St Brigid's church, Straffan, with a reception afterwards at the nearby Barberstown Castle.

The Theme The couple chose an Irish theme for their wedding including a harpist who played traditional Irish wedding songs and Irish dancing in the evening.

The Ceremony With over 60 guests coming all the way from London, everyone was really involved in the day and many guests made readings during the ceremony. The finishing touch was the harpist who made the most of the acoustics in the church.

What They Wore Stephanie wore a gown called 'Claire' by Maggie Sottero bought from from Ring O'Roses with Gina sandals. Martin wore a traditional morning suit from Moss Bros while Stephanie's maids set the colour theme with stunning halterneck dresses from Debenhams.

Transport Stephanie had always wanted to have a horse and carriage at her wedding. With the church and reception venue being so close, it was the perfect choice.

The Florist at Barberstown Castle decorated the three-tiered wedding cake from Marks & Spencer's with blooms to match the bride's bouquet.

First Dance Stephanie and Martin's first dance was to Ronan Keating's The Way You Make Me Feel.

A Moment To Remember Stephanie says, “As we had a lot of couples at our wedding I asked that the second song be “She” (Elvis Costello) so they could all have a dance. I remember looking around and seeing our closest friends, dancing, smiling and looking so happy.”
