Yasmine searches for her dream dress and finds it is easier and more enjoyable than she had imagined.

With just ten weeks to go before the wedding, I am pleased to say that I have finally found and ordered my dress. Phew! A word of advice to engaged ladies – please start looking as soon as possible. Through a combination of apathy and reckless confidence I put off looking for a dress until a couple of months ago. And it was the worst idea because nearly every shop I visited told me I needed to hurry up and make a decision, which stressed me out even more. You know that horrible feeling you have when you are trying to find the perfect dress for a party and nothing is right? Times that by a hundred and then you’ll know how it feels.

Anyway I have found ‘the one’ at long last and ironically it is the first pic that I tore out from a magazine. It’s from Alfred Angelo and, without giving the game away too much, it is perfect – gorgeous and simple. Now, I’ve just got to worry about kitting out my bridesmaids: there are six of them and they are all different shapes and colorings so it’s not as easy as it sounds!
