Pirate wedding 11963 views
I love people who are happy to be themselves and not care what others think. Take Amethyst, Queen of the Pirates (a.k.a. Mrs. Amy Hardin), and Capt. William the Wicked (a.k.a. Bill Hardin) who were married in true pirate fashion by tugboat skipper, Captain Mad Jack.
The festivities took place on the Willamette River in Oregon and nearly 100 guests (all in pirate attire) turned up for the ceremony. According to The Bee (a local newspaper), the minister started by proclaiming “We have been summons’d here to witness the crime of matrimony. More valuable than money, in this ceremony we will see offered the gift of eternal love. This gift of love is more valuable than any treasure. It’s stronger than any wind; it’s more intoxicating than the finest grog.”
The vows included eternal love and a promise to share plundered booty (sounds a bit risqué). When William the Wicked was asked if getting married was the pirate thing to do he replied, with a grin and a wink, “Arrrr, I shouldn’t have, but I did!”
The Hardin's, both hospital workers, have been into the pirate lifestyle for several years and currently live on a boat in a local marina.
Absolutely barking, but I love it!

That sounds fantastic. The great thing about weddings - especially more recently is you can have them however you want
