Peaches Geldof weds 10436 views

Historians will no doubt look back at the early years of the 21st century as the time of fame gone mad. In the past fame (or notoriety) arose through deeds - some good, some bad. Now of course you just need to be a relative of someone famous to claim fame in your own right and use it to launch a career.

Don't get me wrong, I am not claiming that if Peaches Geldof's dad wasn't Sir Bob Geldof we would never of heard of her - she might still have forged a career (of sorts) as a DJ and T.V. presenter. I doubt it though.

So...to cut to the chase - she got married in a 'quickie' Las Vegas ceremony to Max Drummey, a drummer from a band you won't have heard of. Her husband must be pretty bright though as he is a Harvard Anthropology grad. Perhaps Drummey the drummer is doing post-graduate research on 'Fame In The 21st Centaury' and figured he should get as close to his subjects as possible - by marrying one of them.

There has been a lot of media speculation as to the odds of the couple staying together for more then a few months. What do you think - is it a match made in heaven or just drum and drummer?
