What is My ToDo List?
Whether you have your wedding plans in hand or have no idea where to start, WeddingPath can guide you through each step along the way, using My ToDo List.
First make sure you set your wedding date in the Planner's Home Page. My ToDo List will then be set up with when and what you need to do before the big day.
Special features of My ToDo List
- We will create your ToDo List with all the main tasks you need to think about when planning a wedding.
- You can assign tasks to other people (friends, family, wedding party, wedding planner etc) and they will be notified via email that a task needs to be completed.
- New tasks are created with a "due by date", either set from a date picker screen or by countdown to your wedding date - so if you set a "due by date" of -3m, we will calculate the date 3 months before your wedding day.
- Items are colour coded according to when they need to be done: RED means you should really have done this by now, YELLOW is "do this today", BLUE is to do at some future point.
- You can set tasks to be designated as complete, removing them from your "active tasks" view. You can postpone tasks by a specified amount of time and we will remind you nearer the new due date.
- If you use your budget page to specify payment dates and amounts to suppliers, we will automatically create tasks for you to pay those suppliers, including info about how much, and payment details.
- We will remind you by email when things need to be done!

Using the 'due-date' feature
You can set the 'due date' for each task exactly how you want:
- Enter the date manually in the format dd/mm/yyyy Eg. 14/02/2010
- Click on the date-picker icon, as circled in red below
This will bring up a date selector:
- Set your wedding date in the Planner's Home Page then use our date countdown. If you type "-3d", we will calculate a date 3 days before your wedding, "-3w" will calculate 3 weeks before your wedding, "-3m" will calculate 3 months before your wedding day. You can also type "mon" or "tue" etc for NEXT Monday or Tuesday. Leave the field empty and we will set that task's due-date for a week's time.
