What is a Photoshare page?

Your Photoshare pages are here for you and your guests to upload photos from your wedding, hen and stag night, etc.  There are quite a few websites that will allow you to upload photos, but we wanted to let your guests upload their photos as well. That way you have all your pics in one place, and of course they will be included on your WeddingPath CD when you order it. You and your guests can comment on, tag, vote for favourite photos, and if you add large images can view them as a full screen slideshow.

How do I add a Photoshare page?

It's really easy to add a Photoshare page, just log-in...

go to 'edit my site'...

choose 'add another page'...

and select the Photoshare page you want to add.

You'll then be asked to choose a password (for your guests to use when they upload photos), and that's it!

How do my guests and I upload photos?

You and your guests can upload photos by going to your WeddingPath site, choosing the Photoshare page and clicking on this button...

You photos are organised by album, and if you have enough uploaded you might just find a little bonus - a picture wall!

BTW When you are logged in to your WeddingPath account, you will not be asked to enter a password before uploading photos.

How do I manage, tag and comment on photos?

You can  manage your photos by clicking on these buttons...

'Previous' and 'Next' allow you to scroll though your photos.

'Tag' allows you to tag an image. Tagging images is great fun - you can tag your friends and relatives in a picture, then send them an email so they can check themselves out. Of course your tag can simply be the persons name - but feel free to experiment a bit...

Likewise 'commenting' on photos is a really nice way or remembering the event.  Our favourite comment ever on a photo (and no, we shan't show you the image), is "OMG! That's Gran pinching the vicar's bum!!!!".

You and your guests can also vote for favourite images. A 'favourites' album will automatically be created for you, and some of the WeddingPath templates feature the top three favourite pics on the 'Welcome' page.

If you have images uploaded at a high enough resolution, you will be able to view the photos as a full screen slideshow. You will only see this button if the images are of sufficient resolution, as low res images will look all pixely and horrid - and we want you all looking your best!

Organise album allows you to drag images around, so you can get them in the order you like. 

Rotate image... well I think you can work that one out for yourselves :)

Edit tags/cmts will allow you (and not your guests) to change the tags and comments.

Delete Photo -  it's your wedding and you should absolutely feel free to get rid of any photo you don't like, or don't look your best in. So... that one with your eyes closed in - delete.  That one with h2b spilling his wine all over himself - delete (or maybe not!).

How do I share photos on Facebook?

Just click on the 'Share on facebook' link (under your list of albums), and follow the instructions. This allows you to post photos upload on WeddingPath to your facebook profile, or email them to your facebook friends.
