They Met Patricia and Andreas met at a wine event in Spain after which a few ‘professional’ emails turned to a long ‘penfriendship. Many emails later, the couple concluded they had found their perfect match – even before their first date!

Wedding Venue They were married at Queen's House, Greenwich. With many guests traveling from Spain, the journey up the Thames was a good chance to see the sights while Patricia arrived in a vintage 1958 Bentley.

The Theme Contemporary London was the wedding day theme. "We wanted to show off the best of London - architecture, food and drink, traditions (such as garden games) - and even the weather behaved", said Patricia. Colour wise there was an emphasis on black and white with splashes of strong reds and pinks.

What They Wore Patricia wore a stunning dress from Spain, made by Sybilla with a vintage bracelet that belonged to her mother and rings with amethyst and blue topaz, a gift from the groom. Andreas wore a classic black tuxedo form Pal Zileri with a white shirt, burgundy tie – changed to a bow tie for the evening!

The Cake Suzelle Cakes designed a fabulous chocolate fudge cake with sugar icing and an intricate pattern laced in red, similar to the design of the wedding stationery.

A Moment to Remember Lots of the guests were invoived in the ceremony with readings by friends, each in their own language. The most emotional moment came when Patricia herself made a reading.

First Dance - Just The Two Of Us (Bill Withers)

Honeymoon The first night was spent in the Covent Garden Hotel followed by a honeymoon back home in Madrid.
