My Blog: David Hasselhoff
Now as many of you know, I am a big fan of David's. I do want to know what the wrinkly thing on his lap is (it isn't part of him is it?).

My Blog: Karen and Elis 22nd December 2006.
I arrived with Karen and Elis on December 19th 2006 - Karen's kind neighbour looked after me until she got home. Karen and Elis had a christmas tree up... and as I like climbing trees I climbed up it and made myself at home. Karen had already got me some granny smiths so I enjoyed them!!

Over the next couple of days I helped Karen finish off the wedding preparations and keep her calm! Then on Thursday 21st December we said goodbye to Elis and went to stay overnight in a nice country house hotel. We had a nice meal, and I met Karen's bridesmaids, who made a fuss of me, and shared a couple of drinks!

On Friday 22nd December, we all got ready for the wedding at the hotel, then we got back in a car and went to the chapel for the wedding ceremony. The service was all in Welsh, and I've never met a monkey that could speak Welsh, so I didn't understand it!! They must have got married though because everyone seemed very happy. After throwing lots of confetti, we went back to the hotel. When we got there, there was warm wine with apples in it waiting for us like Karen had promised, so I sneaked a couple of extra glasses! We had a lovely meal of parsnip soup, Lamb (which I didn't eat because I'm a monkey) and raspberry meringue. Then we got to have lots of champagne, and Elis got up and spoke to everybody. Elis called Karen his 'wife' so that confirmed I was right, and they did actually get married even though I didn't quite understand it?... After lots more drinking and dancing we were sent to bed by the hotel staff!! (I don't think Karen and Elis wanted the day to end!!)

Karen looked so beautiful and Elis is so handsome!!!

OK, so I was a little tipsy in this photo.

Note to self: Never break wind when your bottom is in a glass as the suction makes you get stuck.

On the Saturday we went to Edinburgh and stayed in a nice hotel for Christmas. We went to the german christmas market - where there was some delicious spiced apple gluvhein - and we listened to a man in a kilt play the bagpipes. I think he was probably cold in his skirt! On christmas day we had a nice dinner in the hotel and another bottle of champagne. Karen says the hotel forgot to charge them for it - I said I wouldn't tell anyone as long as she sneaked me some more apples from the boxing day buffet!! All too soon it was time to go back to North Wales with Karen and Elis, but there was another New Year party to look forward to - after which I needed rather a lot of rest!! It was all a bit much for a little monkey to take in in just over a week - but we had a really good time...it makes me want to go to another wedding soon!!

Thanks Karen and Elis, I miss you both already.

My Blog: Photos from Kenya
Here are some photos, hot of the press, from my Kenya trip (with Fiona and Kieran). This is me 'relaxing' in a tree...
and relaxing on the sun lounger with little Kieran (who is my lovely bear friend)...

and relaxing on the way to the sun lounger...
I really think I could get used to this.

Fi's new husband is called Kieran, I think he was named after little Kieran the bear. Must save a fortune on monogrammed hankies as they can share.
