Hi everyone,
I wanted to start a thread so people can put there suggestions and recomendations for a summer holiday or honeymoon. Be great for ideas and inspiration. I have put a few questions below to get the ball rollin'...
1) Where are you going this year?
2) What is your favourite holiday destination abroad?
3) What is your favourite holiday destination in the UK (or your home country)?

Hiya
Right this year we're going to Turkey (hopefully) a family member has an apartment out there, so just a cheap week as we're saving!!
My fave hol destination that we've been to already would have to be the Dominican Republic. It's so nice and peeps are great and make you feel very welcome.
My fave place for a holiday in the UK is tricky cos' there's so many places depending on my mood. For a good knees up Blackpool would be my 1st choice I love it there, for quiet time and scenery Devon and for action and adventure North Wales!!!
My dream holiday would be the love island in Fiji that was featured on the ITV celeb love island. It just looks so perfect there!!!
Haven't decided yet, hopefully the caribbean but maybe Cuba or Jamaica as been to Dom Rep. |

Hi
1) we are going to minhead bultins this month LOl
and will be off to france and belguim only return grrr!
2)Turkey are our favourite holiday my 4 time! hotel aqua fanasty is brillant there is 27 different slides and waterpark next to my hotel free entry! as all inculisve
3) center parcs at longleat they are fanastic!
4) my dream holiday is fuji same as kez LOL
5) We are thinking of go the caribbean possible cuba or dominican republic and mexico on our honeymoon!

anyone ever been to Sandy Balls in the New Forest? i had so many great times there as a kid. I really want to go back again and stay in one of there log cabins!!
I am biased and people probably think i'm mad but i grew up near Eastbourne and think it is a fantastic place to go!!! - its not full of old people as evryone thinks!

We're hopefully off to the Dusit Resort in Phuket, Thailand this year (We've now caught the Thai beach bug following our honeymoon in december!)
My favourite holiday destination is Egypt...absolutely fascinating...Cairo is a must to see the Pyramids and Sphynx. A cruise down the Nile is one of the most romantic things I've ever done. Luxor is amazing, the sights and ruins have to be seen as well as the sights along the Nile. Aswan is truly relaxing and the Old Cataract hotel is stunning. I've never been to the beach resorts, but they are said to be fantastic, particularly if you are into diving.
UK - Oooooh....the lake district...deven/cornwall...Scotland (where we got married) - stunning scenery.
The Maldives...one place I've never been to!
We spent a week at the Sala Samui in Koh Samui. 4 nts at the Sarojin in Khao Lak and 3nts at the Pimilai on Kao Lanta, Krabi. The Sala Samui is a honeymooners paradise (stay in a pool villa..!) and we couldn't fault it. The Sarojin is beautiful...very peaceful....excellent service and close enough to khao lak to go out somewhere different in the evening. The Pimilai by far had the best beach...is in beautiful surroundings and was fab, but we preferred the other 2 hotels!

Okay
- We have two holidays this year, one being sort of honeymoon, and one in the UK. After the wedding we weren't going to go away, but thought better of it, so we are borrowig John's aunt's villa in Valenica for two weeks. And I cannot wait! Then a big group of us our gonig to rent a cottage in Wales.
- I love Greece and Portugal, and they're both great as you can get a city-style holiday with beeches for whatever takes your fancy day-to-day. I also love Venice!
- It's got to be Devon. It's so beautiful, has great beaches, and for me, loads of memeries of family hols when I was younger.
- Dream holiday would maybe be South Africa or possibly China.
- We're going to New Zealand next February ( as well as Valencia after the big day) and gonna stop-over in Fiji on the way there and New York on the way back!!!

Hi
We are going to the Seychelles this year for our honeymoon. We will be flying to a private island called Taj Denis Island for four nights, followed by 8 nights on Praslin, another island.
The places I have enjoyed the most have been New York and Koh Samui. Both very different but amazing!!!
My dream holiday is going to be my honeymoon of course as have always wanted to go to the Seychelles. I would also love to go to Bora Bora in the South Pacific.
My favourite place to visit in the UK would have to be St Ives in Cornwall. It is gorgeous and romantic with quaint little streets and shops.

1) Where are you going this year?
Our holiday this year will be our honeymoon, though im sure we will take a city break later in the year too. I'm off to Center Parcs Sherwood for my hen do, so thats sort of a holiday too!
2) What is your favourite holiday destination abroad?
Our last holiday was on the island of kortula in croatia, it was an amazing destination, especialy if you like messing around on boats and snorkling beacuse the water was crystal clear and full of fish, amazing place, lovely people, brilliant seafood, our hotel was a but basic, but they are still gearing uo for tourism over there.
Although our city break to Prague where we got engaged was a magical place too.
3) What is your favourite holiday destination in the UK (or your home country)?
My favourite place is Scotland, its so pieceful and beautiful. We had a lovely city break to edinburgh that my OH organised as a surprise, just before Xmas. A lovely hotel, and dinner in the amazing hotel restaurant with the snow falling thick outside on the castle.
4) What would be your dream holiday?
I love tropical destinations, and i would like to go on a 6 month working holiday to help animals somewhere, such as helping baby turtles in, or lemurs in madagascar maybe.
5) Where did you go/are you going for your honeymoon?
We are off to mauritius for 10 nights, to the legends resort, all inclusive!!! I can't wait, tropical sands, clear blue sea, and lovely food.

Our holiday this year will be our honeymoon - we are going to Mauritius for 7 nights to the Beau Rivage Hotel.
2) What is your favourite holiday destination abroad?
I love any of the greek islands
3) What is your favourite holiday destination in the UK (or your home country)?
Cornwall - especially St Ives its just so quaint and pretty
4) What would be your dream holiday?
I am having it - Mauritius!
