thought i wud do a quick sum up of the day!

found it really hard to get up in the morning as i'd woken up at 5am and found it difficult to get back to sleep. but i had to drag myself up as Ange and Cath were coming around at 8.15 to take me to the hairdressers. We spent an hour there b4 going to get makeup done. i then had to try and get into angela's car with full veil on which got a few funny looks from passers by!! Hahaha Hahaha

wen we got back the photographer had just arrived. i was starving so there wil prob be lots of photos of me stuffin my face (a la Catherine zeta jones eating a cake in hello magazine)-i must be the exception to the rule of losing your appetite on the big day!! Knife and Fork

it was very chilled in our house before we left for the church. i had one 'moment' when i opened cards from my parents and brother (he is the handsome usher) but i cudnt cry properly cos of my makeup!!!

b4 we knew it the cars had arrived!! a bee attacked my bouquet b4 i got in the car and a few people from my road waved us off!! my house is only 5 mins from the church so we were there in no time. i was actually early for the FIRST time ever Eeeeek so had lots and lots of photos taken outside!

then i had to make my way down the aisle-a bit emotional at first but the whole mass was lovely and John and I smiled our way through!!!

most of my extended family went awol on the way to the reception but turned up after the photos!!?but i wasnt that bothered!

the wedding breakfast was lovely and then came the speeches...dad's was lovely-not too long but very heartfelt. John on the otherhand went to town on his speech. it was full of emotion and comedy one liners-his best man had a hard act to follow but rose to the challenge!!

b4 we knew it-the evening reception was upon us. i totally forgot to throw my bouquet (re-enacted it yday with mum in the garden) i was concentrating so hard on performing the first dance!!

i neednt have worried it went so well and the lessons and practice had paid off!!we got a standing ovation!!

later on that evening we had a band play from my school (age14) a set that included the killers, beatles bon jovi (4 u Bev) etc. they were a real hit and it meant even more as i was their teacher. god nose what their parents thought of our dancing!!

everyone had a fabulous time-i was mainly drinking water as it was so warm and i wanted to take in every aspect of the day.

as everyone says on here enjoy every minute as it flies by so quickly. it was the best day of my life!!
