My Blog: An introduction of Sorts
Hello All - Thought i'd introduce meself seeing as i'm going to be using this most of the time!! Hmm What can i say about me, erm Im 20 (I no you all think its too young but i dont!) From essex, and am training to be an accountant. I have been in some horrible relationships, and my Hubby to be has stuck through me through it all - my best friend for 4 years and i always wanted it to be more but was scared of ruining the hole friendship thing - plus wewere never single at the same time and i aint one to reck a relationship!!
After a few months of both being single i decided to take the chance and here we are 2 and a half years later and i'e never been happier!! So he asked me to marry him on my 20th birthday (July 2nd) And i cant wait!!
I'm one of those that have dreamt about it for ever - and i want it all to be perfect. Havinig troubles thinking of ideas i like though really - want the hole cionderella style thing but i dont want it to be tacky - Its the 'wow' factor im after - even my dress. I haven't seen most of my family since xmas, and am trying to avoid them if i can as i am dieting and have lost 3 and a half stone in 9 weeks!! So im hoping it will be a big wow, only thing is i havent set a date properly really, and how can i ignore them all for that long!! So im hoping the dress will do it on its own, Benjamin Roberts gown 911 is what i want. Had my heart set on it since i see it!!
Just hope it all goes as well as i want - i just dont no where to start!! We cant set at date that we stick too, havent set a budget realli becuase i dont no where to start!! But the place i want is parklands quendon hall in Stortford i think? And i got quoted for everything i want - pink champagne for welcome drinks, meals, Canapes, 1.5 bottles of wine for each person (as they are big on wine in my family lol) tea and truffles, dj and the hire of the hole house and it was like £8k. They do deals for like £3k but its litterally the basics. I just want the Wow factor so much i dont care how much, i've seen my dress and its £1105 - but my mum said that was too much but when your heart is set on soemthing its hard to change. As i'm having a civil ceremony im not having bridesmaids so im saving there - but i just dont no what to do to get the wow factor but not blow the budget. I thought 8k was quite good for what we were getting but looking at prices of everyone elses i am guessing its not!! Help LOL
