Hey.. (it's been a while)

what is everyone doing to lose weight..

less food at one time spread out in smaller meals throughout the day, plus keeping active..

**Tips: while sitting(desk couch etc) hold your tummy in like you're putting on tight pants, you should be able to breathe and work while doing this but it works you core muscles...

** anytime you take off your shoes or change or are in the shower do a simple stretch.. pull until your muscle feels tight hold of a few seconds and go on with things. = the more your muscles more ans stretch the more blood flow the more flow the healthier you'll be.

** its ok to eat sweets, just don't eat a serving.. instead of having a whole piece, help yourself to a fork full and savor the flavor and move on.. it taste good and you don't rack up calories.

** stay positive and keep a smile on, people tend to move more and be more animated when they're happy. the more you smile the better chemicals are released in your body.
>>>inversely: being mad or stressed releases cortisol in your body and locks up some of the things in your system... humans get too stressed too often (cortisol is meant to prepare the body for a fight or flight response.. and isn't meant to be activated constantly!!)

hope this helps

sorry to sound all medical i am going to school though to help people heal their bodies..

Nothing wrong with being medical Hahaha My main points that have helped me loose the weight are:

* Eating Breakfast
* Using a dish instead of a plate at dinner
* Do light exercise (yay for the Wii) an 30-60mins a day
* Gym 3 days a week - or an extra hour on the Wii
* Weighing myself every 2 days - works for me, doesn't work for some

Thumbs up goodluck ladies Big Grin

I've been feeling great about my weight loss, but today I got a call from the mother-in-law and she's really jelous of the weight I've lost (for as long as I've known her she's been trying to lose weight)

The thing is that she is always trying to be smaller than me, weight and clothe size. I've been ok with it recently, every now and again I would have to bite my tounge (these are too big for me, would you like them, and then they don't do up even though at the time we were the same time!!)

She's requested that I come home, for mothers day so she can see if I have really lost the weight. Thing is she's tiny (size why) and I really don't want to make her feel bad, and she looks good - she's 50 this year.

How do I be polite about it - yet still enjoy the fact that I've lost the weight extra. I honnestly want to tell her as you hit 50 etc you gain weight naturally etc etc etc

Compliment her and just let it go if she's caught up in the competition then it's her fault she's losing liek you said she's fifty there is only so much she can do.. but if you feel bad don't challenge her at all.

good luck...
