hey wedding twin!!
i was going to say you dont have to have favours at all! we havent got anything so far and are so busy trying to sort out everything else at the minute we havent given it a second thought!
are our guests going to think we are rude if we dont get them favours?

We had little pots with a bag of sweets and a candle for adults, and little bags of sweets for kids. then we wrapped them in cellophane and used place names and ribbon to tie them up.c my pics for example.

hi we had OUzo for the men - bought out there in cyprus and we had love hearts and wine glass charms ( hand made bought from ebay with swarowski crystals) for the ladies in little pink bags. we found a oplace online that did kiddies favour bags with different bits in for realy cheap cant remember the name as it was a while ago now.... but i thnk you'd probably find if you googled it.
However, e went to a wedding in may this year where they had a card on each table and said that they had donated the money to charity.. i thought this was a really nice idea instead. i think it was cafod or oxfam and apparently out table bought a goat!

Hi My theme is red, and I lost my Mum is 2007 (she had heart trouble) and as a tribute to her, which is personal to me and H2B, I have bought the men and ladies, a British Heart Foundation Pin, which comes in a cellophane wrapper with a thank you note.

I gave miniatures of whisky and vodka with donations to cancer research & personalised lables for men and breast cancer pins for the ladies - I made my own boxes and decorated them with stuff from ebay and also put in pink smarties (my theme was pink and ivory). I didnt buy the pins all at once just 10 at a time so I wasnt spending a lot in one go.

We were going to have little easter eggs for favours as we get married on the easter weekend, but H2B has just had the bright idea of having little lego figures (and double them up as place card holders, if the hands are up to it! )to tie in with the lego cake topper we're having!
Off to legoland next week to see what we can find...
