Just phoned the Mill Forge and it looks like I won't be getting a Disco as there are only 2 wedding parties of 12 going to be there and it isn't enough to put a Disco on Sad Nevermind I'll just have a wee disco in the bridal suite, it's big enough.

My partners mum is organising the favours, I give her a few ideas, I think there is going to be quite a few Smiles

We just have sit in the bar but to be quite honest it's not the same cos you can get up and dance in a bar and we have ordered the night-time nibbles for later on. Och I'l just take some party cds, take the nibbles back to the room and then we can all dance. Cheers

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that more people will be there. Big Grin

Well there is certainly still time for people to book up, some people just book Gretna a few weeks in advance.

Have you catered for everyone with the night time nibbles?

I read a thread somewhere that said dont cater for everyone with the nibbles as there is quite a lot. I will have to wait until you get back and report to us.

I managed to get the nibbles for everyone without a hitch, I'm not sure if its only because I only ordered 10 but they were fine about. They send you a form of what you want at reception and if you want the nibbles if so how many about 4 weeks before your wedding.

Jules, you really make me laugh, you are so much like me.

I wouldnt worry about the disco too much though either. I think by the night time you will have enjoyed the day so much you will be make your own enjoyment, just dont dance on the tables like my lot do lol, we seem to get charged for the damage done to them. Drunk Drunk

Hi All

Sorry not been on for a while but thanks for your replies.
Jules and matt you may have a while to wait but you will enjoy all the planning along the way.

Were having Horse and carriage wedding favours in silver and glass with pink chocolate hearts, our theme is silver and pink.

We'd not really thought much about the sashs' however after reading your posts I may have to invest!

its 15 week tomorrow for our wedding and im so excited.

There is 22 in our group and apparently someone else is getting married on the same day so we have been told we've got the disco, my fiancee has actually made a cd as we have been told the disco finishes quite early and doesnt have much of a song choice so if you take your own music he will play it for you.

Has anyone thought of a first dance song?

Thats the one thing that im not sure of with sharing the disco, however its meant to be a few rooms with a curtain where you have the night time nibbles then open the curtain and the main disco room is there.
