I rang last week to speak to them about the reception rooms. It all depends on how many people you have going. We have around 60 so the lady I spoke to said it was very likely I would have the roundhouse although they couldnt guarantee it. My concern was my dad, he has had a stroke and in a wheelchair so we would be unable to get him up the stairs.
I cant wait to see how this night time disco works out, it seems very strange everyone together.
My bridesmaids are red, and we are releasing doves in memory of our parents etc, so we have based our theme around red roses and doves.
In fact Ive gone dove crazy.

I had a wee look at your wedding path...... Doves a fantasic idea. We lost my brother a few years ago so we ve gone for the thai wish lanterns. We write msgs to heaven on balloons on his bday and at christmas. We will wait til dark and release 20 lanterns. Now could go a number of ways......
Could look beautiful whilst they float up to the night sky with your msg wrote on them, We are all too p**sed to light them or the cars on the motorway think that we are being invaded by spaceships!!! if you have nt seen them have a look. nightskylanterns
As for the disco...i think its a strange one mixing with other brides AND GOD FORBID one has same frock I d rather the upstairs room so we could hide out with ipod and speakers!! We ve 42 going so i know it will be either roundhouse or upstairs. Think if you tell them about your dad you ll get roundhouse as cant expect him to go up and down the stairs.

The lanterns look really good, what a great idea. Although we did have a laugh at the thought of giving our family and friends something similar, they are crazy enough to start off with, god forbid what would happen with 60 drunkards trying to release those.
Are you having any balloon decorations?

Hey...Our lot the same!! Been looking at balloons on ebay. Ive just done my mum's 60th and the balloons i got from ebay were lovely. Was looking at getting a company in to do them but the price is mad. Few pals have offered to do them for me on the day of wedding as not getting married til 4pm. Knowing me i'll end up doing them myself! Booked hairdresser yesterday so thats another thing off the list. Flowers are next!

I've got fiona and June booked for hair and make-up, and I've decided to make my own flowers.
You sound very much like me and end up doing things yourself, thats why Im drawing the line at doing balloons, well for now anyway. My partner wants us to have a balloon arch behind us, but as he is out of work at the moment I think its an expense we can do without.
I think we will be going for the chair sashes, but I know what Im like I will be wanting to go in an put them on so I know they are done right, as you have to put them on yourself.

Hi Jules, Has someone had a word with you and told you to find me more things to do? They both look absolutely great. Think we are definitely going for the sashes, but guess what Ive spotted the table runners now. I can see me ringing the Mill up and getting them to measure the bloody tables.
I can also imagine me sitting there getting my hair done on the morning, trying to make a bloody balloon arch, although I think I will pass on that one
