Hi Jules
Have you got someone to do your flowers? If not I would recommend that you contact Mary at anvilweddingflowers@tiscali.co.uk
She is a lovely, lovely lady and will help you with any queries. She is doing my flowers and I have seen her work and its stunning.

Hi all,
Im new to this site and am just learning how to find my way around, so please be patient with me.
I've been reading all your posts and im so happy for you all.
I actually get married at the Mill Forge on 23rd Sept this year and cant wait its 15 week on wednesday, its also my birthday. We got engaged last year on my birthday and only set a date in January but we cant wait.
Im having Craig Irving as the piper and Fiona and June for my hair. Rev Gilbert Hall as the minister.
Were going on the Tuesday from Chesterfield and we get married on the Wednesday then leave on the Thursday but were going to the Lake District until the Sunday then home.
I must say im starting to panick about the M10 forms now. Other than that though the flowers and everything else is ordered its just pay, pay, pay now, also we collected one ring got the other to collect at the end of the month.
Has anyone else decided if there having favours, if so what?
Donna xx

Hi there!
We're getting married there 3 weeks on Thursday! I am so excited :-)
I saw you are from Derbyshire Donna, I am originally from Staffordshire, not far from the border with Derbyshire mind! (Now living in London). We are doing a similar thing to you too, we travel up on the Wednesday, get married on the Thursday and then drive down to the Lake District for a few days. We will pop in at my parents and see some friends (in Stafford) on the way back down to London.
It all seemed to fit perfectly with what we wanted, Gretna with it's history, so close to the Lake District, so peaceful and relaxing and then driving straight past family home to get back to London. I'm just so excited!

Hi, we have been wondering the same thing. We went up and had a look about(yet again) and seen the roundhouse all decorated for a reception in black and ivory. Each chair had an organza sash colour co-ordinated it was gorgeous.
After spending ages trying to convince myself we don't need the sashes, I do think they are a lovely finishing touch.
