The boys are having a poker tournament in the hotel, and the girls are going up the road to the hot springs for a soak and a natter. I really just want to chill out a bit at that point. We'll probably go for a meal first as a group (girls and boys) there's a fab fondue restaurant in Banff town that's always a good place to eat - it's a very interactive and social kind of meal, so it fits in well with the atmosphere we're trying to create.

Some very cool idea's- I haven't thought about what I'm going to be doing yet. I've been into the fondue place as mentioned above- probably 4 years ago now but it's fab- is that the one where you can call other tables? Wish I was getting married in Banff....... :emoticon('Boiiiiiiing'Wink

Yep, that's the one! We're lucky, living in Calgary we're only a 45 minute drive from there so it's a really easy place for us to get to. here's a link to their website if you fancy indulging in some nostalgia: banffgrizzlyhouse

I am going out for a meal with my mum, brothers, mums boyfirend and my best frind who I havent seen in 10 years. Me and my best friend are then going back to mine and watching some girly dvd's.

H2B is staying at best mans, so no doubt they will be getting rather drunk and eating pizza or curry.

We are going to organise some drinks and nibbles for our immediate families.
Our parents have never met and we thought we should do something to introduce people before the day. Huh?

I will be leaving at 10pm though - and no later. And no drinking. I don't want to have a massive head the next day!! Blush

I think I would prefer to do something more chilled out but I don't intend on getting too stressed about it - my family are unpredictable so they will be given the time and place and after that, it's up to them.
H2B can stress about his side!! Hahaha

We had a big dinner the night before at a hotel near our venue with my family and our our American guests...there were 60 people! I must admit I hadn't really been looking forward to it but it was a lot of fun and kept me busy the night before. There were a couple of speeches and then Chris and I presented gifts to our parents and the wedding party. After that two of my bridesmaids and I went back to the hotel and the owner gave us a bottle of champagne-it was fab! x

We are going out for a nice lunch and then we are having a relaxing evening and I'm going to bed early.

Badmonkey, Canada is my H2B's favourite country - he went there a few years ago on holiday and loved it. After we met, he got talking about maybe one day going to live there (Vancouver City probably, if we did) but once I got really interested in it, he seemed to cool off the idea. Men! Wink Maybe he thought I was TOO keen! Big Grin
