I hope so too especially those poor people who have gifts still to be delivered after their wedding was months ago. I feel for anyone involved with them it must be a very nerveracking time. Hope they have wedding insurance.

Just updated on the WrapIt website...

Wrapit Latest News - 25/07/08 14.00pm

You may have heard that Wrapit is in Administration. This is not the case. We have encountered some financial difficulties and are working with our advisers and several interested parties to find a solution quickly.

Wrapit apologises to all couples and guests affected, we are doing our best to resolve the situation as soon as possible and believe that there is a realistic chance that we will be able to complete our wedding list orders. However, we won't know the outcome until the end of next week. In the meantime, our showrooms will be open by appointment only, but we will keep customers updated with regular postings on our website.

For all press enquiries please email PressEnquiries@wrapit.co.uk

Wrapits advice to couples

Your list
If you would like to ask your guests not to make any further purchases from your list, please alter your welcome message (or 'message to guests'Wink on your Wrapit homepage to that effect.

Warehouse stock
Items still in our warehouse have been allocated to couples but not yet delivered. If it has been allocated to you, it is legally yours and you will receive it, it will just be delayed.

Your guest's money
The over 80% of guests who paid by credit card, Amex or Visa debit card will be able to claim a full refund. Other card companies have varying insurance policies and will be able to advise cardholders of their rights.
