Got my final dress fitting next Tuesday..... but I have lost so much weight recently (not intentionally!) I'm worried it will be too big. I have to travel 4oo mile round journey to the shop and I wont be a happy bunny if its now too big. I've only had one previous fitting and the lady in the shop said I would probably not need anymore fittings. How many fittings has everyone else had?

Stuffing my face with cream cakes and gallons of wine to put some weight back on!!! Drunk

I wish I had your problem lol.

Is your dress a corset back? If it is, then probably wont be a problem. Hope it's all ok, keep us updated Little Kiss

I have had the same problem *sob*

I think its wedding stress that led to mine. I never went to a dress shop so I am not sure how many fittings you should have, The assistants should be able to help you though, as they will have had this problem before I should think

I am having 2 dress fittings. Already had one, then i go again once they have done the alterations (about 2 weeks before my wedding) and then that it to check all is ok or if i need any emergency alterations.

Lost about 9lbs, so now weighing in at 9 and half stone. I'm a size 10/12 and can you believe my dress had to be ordered in a size 16!!!! Some of these designers dont know true sizes! Weight loss is from being on strong pain killers, which gave me upset tummy and just lost my appetite.
