Having gone through my top bit of advice is to trust the professionals. They do this every day. I was so far from being a control freak bride that I probably would scare some people, but it all worked out perfectly on the day. These people do weddings all the time, they know what they're doing. As long as you choose your professionals well and are happy with them, just let them get on with it. They can do the stressing and you can just enjoy yourself.

This is so reassuring to here that I am not the only one having totally irrational thoughts Rolls eyes

I lay awake at night thinking of all the things that can go wrong and it is doing my head in. I can't wait to be married but also so I can get a good nights sleep Big Grin

I'm with you, mrstrott! I haven't slept properly in months!
You're so right though, Seona - that's great advice and I wish I could be as calm about it as you were! xxx

The only thing that can really go wrong is that either you, the man you're marrying, or the person marrying you doesn't turn up. Or the venue burns down. Eeeeek None of that is likely. If anything else isn't quite how you imagined it then on the day you honestly won't care.

Not everything went exactly as we'd planned on the day, but we got married and that's what you remember. Deep breaths everyone and try to stay calm! No matter what the cake looks like you'll be the happiest women in the world when the day comes.
