I'm staying at the venue the night before, but don't think they'd put my flowers in their fridge. Any other suggestions as to how to keep them fresh. It's only gerberas for the centrepieces - the rest are artificial Smiles

My aunt made me 5 large arrangements for the church the day before the wedding and they obviously didn't fit in the fridge (thankfully we'd eaten almost everything and not gone shopping because of the honeymoon!) We sprayed them with water, with one of those spritzer thingies and kept the oasis wet. They were fine.
Also when we got the flowers they were really fresh, they had just come in that day, that helped too.

Our wee man is getting our flowers on the Thursday and we are picking them up on Friday, so hopefully they will be fine too. The church flowers I will take to the church on Friday, as the church people are going to arrange them for me (I did want to, but I figured I already have far too much to do and I am taking on a ridiculous amount, so I thanked them instead)

I will remember the oasis tip too Thumbs up Thumbs up

Are pew decorations essential - is everyone doing these too Unsure Unsure

we didn't bother with them, you have to draw a line somewhere. It's not like people will say - oooh she didn't have pew decor...
Someone (probably on here) said to me that people probably wouldn't even remember what the flowers were like the next day!

We had no pew flowers, but then as a civil ceremony we didn't really have pews.

Gerberas last for ages so I'd think just keeping them in water should be good enough.
