I did a speech. I decided that I wanted to thank the bridesmaids myself. Traditionally the groom does it, but as I'd bossed them around for about a year I figured it ought to be me thanking them.

I didn't really have a script, I just spoke. Got a few laughs, few tears, and it went very well. I wish I had scripted though as then I might have remembered to say a few words about my new husband as well!

I did a little speech mainly thanking my mum and Paul. Also two of my friends had birthdays that day so I got them up and we sang to them. I am the shyest person so can only put it down to the champagne and wedding high I was on!!

I have had a t-shirt made for my H2B - I have already guven it to his best man for safe keeping, I have asked him to present it to him as a gift from me while he makes his speech it says...UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT!

As they are wearing highland wear (his family are scottish) I also had some boxer shorts made for our 6 year old son, on the back they say...NOT A TRUE SCOTS MAN!

I just know that he will spend all day flashing his bottom to our guests so I thought they were a little insurance!
