OMG Oh my..

i would be so so mad. Too rude..

The marriage ceremony is a serious and solemn demonstration of your love. it is a legally binding contract and while i believe you can smile and laugh i don't agree with someone making a joke from it

the reception is the party time.

bless him, hopefully he knew exactly what he was doing. some people crack when everything is serious, she knew she was marrying a joker (i hope). Everyone is entitled to make their day their own. What one couple holds close to their heart is different to the next couple.

At my FIL2B's funeral the family decided to play 'always look on the bright side of life'. this went down a well, because that was my FIL. he always whistled that tune when he had a few at the pub! We were worried people may take it the wrong way, but everyone said it was great!!

So it just goes to show things can be as serious as they need to be for the people involved!! weddings funerals etc are to represent everything that person is about.

Having said that, I would kill H2B if he did that, but i would laugh it off (after i had buried him under the patio!!) Bielzebub

Hey my video!

I am the groom in this video Rolls eyes

My wife to be had no clue I was going to do this... in fact only the DJ, photographer, and the woman marrying us knew exactly what was gonna happen. It went off very well. The timing was perfect because we had just finished our personal vows which brought many to tears (including myself). This really lightened the mood. Everyone thought it was one of the funniest things they had seen. A year later my mother in law is still showing off this video to her friends!

(My wife also thought it was hilarious.)

hee hee. That did make me laugh. Sort of thing my ex would have done! I think he was very brave - and great you found your way onto this thread - and would have thought long and hard I suspect about whether it was appropriate but looks like it went down very well. Like every wedding, it's an individual thing.

Must admit if I were the bride it would have completely thrown me and I thought she handled it really well. Rolls eyes Rolls eyes

I could imagine my h2b trying something like that!!! Rolls eyes
If it's in good taste and the person doing knows it will work then it looks fun and he did have permission!!!

Although it is abit of an odd time and place to mess about like that!

but did give me a laugh Hahaha
