Hi, not sure if anyone can help but me and my fiance are having problems booking our honeymoon. We've narrowed it down to either a twin centre (orlando and new york) or Maldives. However, we are a bit worried about the weather in the maldives (we go on 2nd september) and all different websites are saying different things. Has anyone been or know anything about this? any help would be muchly appreciated!

we are honeymoon in the maldives, but not until february 2009. A friend of mine went in novemeber and loved the maldives no rain very warm - beautiful tan. Another mate went in june and had the same!!! think even if it is rainy season still going to be warm and only rains a couple of hours. Although to be sure check out trip advisor and see what they receommend!!!

We've just gone and booked!
Because we really wana go to the maldives and dont wana risk the rain, we've booked for a week in Tenerife for straight after the wedding and then fly out for 2 weeks to the maldives on 20th feb 09!!!!
So at least we kind of get 2 honeymoons now! ha!
I'm SO excited!

Hi Claire, we went to the maldives for our honeymoon and loved it! Weather was lovely, although rained a couple of days, to be honest it didn't matter..... after all you're on your honeymoon   !!!
It was fantastic and we would love to go back as it was so special being on a small island in the middle of the ocean - you will love it - you too Emma! Which resort are you going to ladies?
If you have any queries, let me know...if you're going to a resort which means getting the sea plane, that in itself is a wonderful experience!

Hi.
We are staying at Dhonveli Beach and Spa Resort.
We couldnt decide cos all of them looked gorgeous, but a girl in the travel agent has been there 3 times and recommended that one for us.
Been looking on you tube and it looks great, can't wait to go (although a little bit scared of creepy crawlies!  )
