Hey Girls
Just a word of warning if you did not already know and you have booked BA flights to Cyprus.
They have sold the franchise airline GB airways that does the route to EASYJET!!!
All my family waited and waited to the day the flight came up available to book (to Paphos)and really wanted BA so they would be booked in through from Jersey and get a good luggage allowance.....then a week later got told the route had been sold !!
So now they lose the connection all the way through, the times are not guarenteed cause EJ might change timetable, they get less luggage allowance and are not even got a seat number!!!
I am warning you cause BA are still selling the flight!!!
This will also be the same for any other destinations GB airways operate too.
Hopefully this wont affect any of you or your guests.
Cheers Laura x

Thanks for this _ I HATE British Airways these days! Over-charging, underhanded gits...and they used to be so good
This country is going to hell on a motorbike...or in this case, a jet plane

Girls I'd still check, but my knowledge of Cyprus would mean that if you mands/debs are flying to Larnaca, the likelihood is that you will still fly with BA or your friends will if that is who they have booked with. Ayia Napa holidays tend to fly to their (East side of the island), anyone going to Paphos/Coral Bay side (west of the island) may be affected. This tends to be a smaller airport so may be why this has happened.
If it has made the flights cheaper to Cyprus this is good news (Sorry LandN), but not so good if flights are still the same price with a budget airline and to BA who are still selling flights without telling people - thats v bad on them !

I've booked our flights through BA and a little later got an email say that from end of March easyjet are taking over. We got our flights qute cheap anyway (180.00 pp), but I was really annoyed that I'd not be flying with easyjet and not BA. Easyjet dont do any food, and I know I'm a minority but I like plane dinners, he he. Still if you have booked with BA they are offering to switch to easyjet or a full refund in the email they send so just look out for that

Hi Leese
You are not alone - I LOVE plane food !!!
My mum has had her email aswell, I think she is waiting to see what the connections are like - because we are in Jersey she has to get to London first!
I am sure will all work out fine!
Where are you getting married?
Laura
