Wooohooo! My plan to take over Hawaii with WP members is starting to take effect Hahaha

Any thoughts on which island you want to visit? It is such a difficult decision, they all have such amazing scenery and their own quirks.

Travel agents I found good for Hawaii - Virgin, Kuoni and the one we used: Swindon Travel. Swindon are an independant agent and the girl we booked with (another WP member milliecatkins also used her) is called Nikki - she helped us decide which islands to visit by asking what we wanted from our holiday and gave lots of info on hotels and flights. She has managed to get us great rooms and breakfast included in the price, also they will let your hotel know that you are a honeymoon couple and ask them to provide any upgrades or freebies if possible. Really personal service, she has been in touch by e-mail the whole time and I love calling the shop in Swindon, they are all so friendly and know who I am when I call.

We are staying at the Outrigger Keauhou Beach Resort on Big Island and then at the Ka'anapali Beach Hotel on Maui - they look stunning Big Grin Boiiiiiiing Clap

Ooh.. sounds great! By coincidence I was just looking at your Maui hotel - it does look lovely. Did you phone swindon travel or do it all by email? I tried to get on their website last night and it didn't seem to be working - can you send me the link?

We were thinking of Oahu for the activities, but I was just looking at hotels and they all seem to be in Honolulu and we were hoping for somewhere a bit quieter so I'm going to try and convince h2b that Maui would be better. Do you know if it's posisble to do day trips between islands?

The website isn't working, hasn't done for a while. They have had some issue with the previous owners taking the web hosting contract with them!

I have mostly e-mailed Nikki Hunt (nikki@swindon-travel.co.uk) but you could also call on 01793 533111. I've done virtually everything by e-mail but have called a couple of times, Nikki has always replied to my e-mails very quickly.

Yeah we decided against Oahu because Honolulu and Waikiki beach were just too over developed and busy. After spending 4 days in New York we wanted somewhere more relaxing and a bit more authentically Hawaiian!

Maui is quite near Lanai and Molokai so presumably you can take boat trips between them, Big Island is a bit further away but we are flying from B.I. to Maui and the flight is only 30 mins.

Mil I cannot wait to hear how you get on in Hawaii!! I am being very restrained and trying not to contact Nikki every day to ask if people are buying vouchers Hahaha I nearly screamed with excitement at the confirmation papers arriving, I'll be a jibbering mess when the tickets arrive! Got my new passport last week (in my married name, very bizarre!) so I'm good to go Big Grin
