booking a hol should not be so stressful lol
my children are going away for 2 weeks in july with some very good friends (they going to majorca) im gonna miss them loads but this does give me and h2b a chance to go away for a week on our own (BLISS) so we have been looking for a cheap deal for about 3 months now and the prices seem to be going up rather than down 
well today we found a nice place within our budget in furaventura ( is that how ya spell it lol) not booked anything yet thankfully....H2B was chatting to a friend at his work who I know and know his wife well and turns out thats the resort they are going to and there 2nd week will be the week we go .
I get on really well with this couple but was looking forward to just h2b and me time and not sure how i feel about going to same place, im not saying we would have to spend the week together doing everything together but still I would feel rude not spending any time with them...AGHHHHHHH
am i just cutting of my nose to spite my face my desperation for a holiday says sod it and book but 'oh but' part of me says no......

If I got a weeks peace and quiet without the kids I definitely wouldn't want to spend it with another couple. Just me and hubby would be absolute bliss, so i'd definitely find somewhere else 
Have you tried Holiday Lettings We booked a Gite in France for a week at half term and it was an absolute bargain. They have some really gorgeous properties on there, and if you get on ryanair at the minute, (think this ends tomorrow though) they have flights to Europe starting from £1 each way.

just typing it made me realise i cant go there....think im just about to book where we went last year (with the kids) its about £10 more but it will be just me and Paul 
anyone booked a holiday with alpharooms.com ???
any answers in next 20 mins would be greatful gonna have another glass of wine and think about it till 9pm lol but we know we like it there, the apartments are fab, the food (all inc) is ok, the pool area is very clean, and the local bars are good fun......not sure why im still thinking about it really lol...never booked a holiday online before so a lil scared.

Hi,
You will have a fantastic time, and glad you got something sorted.
I too have booked a holiday today for 2 wks, in Corfu for me and H2B - can't wait we have never had a 2 wk hol before, so will be brilliant, I can't wait. We leave on the 10th July 09. Even ordered a bikini as well, lol, Dont know if I have the courage to wear it though ha. He liked this idea though.
