for the last 3 years my son has got a poem put in print IN a poetry comp run through schoold in scotland (I think they do an English one aswell)

there is now a national comp and this is his entry what do you all think. its short but to the point

The land of the scots

the land of the scots
full of beauty and pride
more historic than history itself
from the green hills to the gray castles
from the birth of nature to the blankets of snow
the beauty is everywhere in the land of the scots.
