Really fancied going to Relate for consulling but i cant afford that so hoping you ladies will have some advice.

Ive never had a high sex drive, the 4 years h2b & i have been together theres only been a couple of periods when we've had a lot of sex & other sexual contact, the rest of the time i just dont really feel like it that much, which seems a lil weird to me?

Had some probs a few months ago, was unsure of our realtionship, didnt want any sexual stuff, now things are ok & we are getting married in a couple of months, but the sex is still an issue for me, i just dont fancy it with him hardly ever, sometimes we try & i force myself coz i think this is what we should be doing, i should be enjoying it, maybe if we carry on i will, but afterwards i feel upset & dont wanna be near him!

whats wrong with me & my brain?!

No there is nothing wrong with you Sophie, I know many friends of mine who would well rather have a cup of tea for want of a better way of putting it. There can be many reasons why this is from your parents' attitude to sex, your fears, your hormones and your mood. If you are on any medication that can also cause a lack of libido or sex drive. It might be worth popping along to your GP or family planning clinic and having a chat with someone about it. They may be able to suggest some relaxation, massage and other techniques that you can use to help get you in the mood. If not then The BBC website has some tips and I am sure that if you search around the web there will be other ways in which you can get the flame burning.

You are not alone though Sophie millions of men and women suffer from loss of interest in sex so the first step is telling yourself that this is fairly common. Little Kiss

Honey you are not alone sometimes I am like this as well.

But in my case I think its down to stress of the wedding with his family not helping and also my medication.

The best thing that does work for me is having my h2b give me an all over body massage it works wonders he makes me all relaxed.
