My boss has just moved there as her bf is manager of a depot up there. Spoke to h2b about a job although to start with is a lot less than what hes on now. Dont think we can afford to take the offer but Peterborough seems like a much cheaper place to live. You can rent a 3 bed house with garden for the same price as a 1 bed flat here! Although I dont know Peterborough and have never been there! We are really struggling finacially here though.
Anyone give me a review of the place?!

Hi, my SIL2B live in Wisbech, which is in Peterborough, it's a great place to live, we're looking to move a little closer ourselves next year - it is so much cheaper, very flat and lots of open countryside. But the town centre is great and you are very close to Kings Lynn, the A1 links quickly to the M25 for London I'd recommend it!

Thanks!
My friends actually own a house in Wisbech, I didnt realise it was in Peterborough! It was v cheap to by compared to here and they are renting it out at the mo while living here.
Just finding a job there thats the trouble!
Ive been told by a couple of people that its not that great though. Full of foreginers! I dont mean to offend anyone, its just some places you go and there are just so many of them, you feel outnumbered! & id just rather live somewhere where most of the people are english! although these days its getting harder i guess with all the immigrants coming in!

Where abouts in Herts are you, I am from Berkhamsted near Hemel Hempstead, I now live near Birmingham, I love it up hear and it is more affordable and quite a lot of jobs depending on what field you are in.
