I have decided to do the Race for Life 5k run, gives me something to aim for, get fit and raise some money for Charity at the same time. So now all ive got to do is try and run for longer than a minute Keith?

I have also decided to do the race for life and have registered for the 18th of May at 10.30 at Temple Newsam in Leeds!

Its a week before i fly out to cyprus - Anyone in the west yorkshire region want to join me???

I did it last year, its brilliant & quite overwhelming when you read the messages on peoples back for loved ones. You get such a sense of achievement when you cross the finish line its good fun too
Will have to find out if the one near me isnt while I'm away else I'll have to leave it this year.

Hi, I'm doing Race for Life this year again too...it's my fouth one! It's in May in Torbay - a week before my hen weekend in Bath. It's especially important this year because my friend has breast cancer and she is about to undergo treatment. She has just had one operation to remove the lump and is going to take part between chemo treatments....she is so brave...it will be an extra emotional day!

I'm gonna do the one in london, can anyone tell me if men can do it too?

Need to look into it today, so if anyone else is doing the one in London, maybe WP should let us have some T shirts?????????

Hey hon,

NO, men cannot do it, unfortuanately!

I will be doing the London one this year again too! Last year I ran in a make-shift wedding dress!! lol

I did it in 37minutes, so I want to cut out at least 5 minutes this year. However, that won't happen, as housemonster is insisting that she is walking it with me!

My BM is doing it with me and little munch wants to do it too! Wow Adri that is such a good time.... I'll still be doing it after about 3 hours, make sure your waiting for me with a coffee!

I did it in 48 minutes last year i was quite shocked as i'm quite an unfit person. It doesnt matter how long it takes its what your doing it for that counts x
