I'm going away for a weekend spabreak for my hen and was wondering should I give goodie bags and what should I put in them? Don't want to spend too much money and there are 12 of us going.
Thanks

yes i have 12 of us too we are going to spain. so the type of thing i was going to put in are...shampoo, conditioner, suntan lotion, paracetamol, freshen up wipes, mini deodorant and maybe some chewing gum/sweeties?
i dont want to spend that much, so may look into getting the bottles myself and then buying bulk and filling them up. i am going into town to do this in about an hour so i will update you with the dreaded cost!!! x

not for 12, i think that was quite good, (and i am a complete skinflint)
what exactly did you put in them again, and did the price include the t-shirts, or were they separate?
i have only one bridesmaid, but i would like to do a bag for her, with maybe jewellery in it as well as some other stuff. i am not sure who is coming to the hen night, but i think we are just going for a meal, and then not sure. i am REALLY not one for going out, i am hoping they will just want to go to the cinema or something i do want to get my sisters a t-shirt that says brides sister though, think that would be cool

i thought it was good too.
i put in, pack of face wipes, mini deodorant (why can i not spell this??) mini showerwash, mini toothpaste, chocolate face pack, little haribrush that turns inside out and has compact mirror the other side, pack of chewing gum, a sun protectant hairspray and i think thats it.
the t shirts unfortunately are seperate but they are only a tenner each.
i knew i wanted to do all of this from the start as all of my girlfriends have been so good with agreeing to come and been really supportive and havent moaned about costs. some people cant come and i fully understand it is a lot of money (150 for the weekend) but its my way of saying thankyou for making the effort so feel it is well worth it. and also something we budgeted for so not a big shock with price.
i bought nearly all of it from superdrug, all the little bits were about a pound each and the little wash bags were 1.18 each. you could also put in shampoo and conditioner but i thought these were personal things that everyone has a different one they like so left that out!
sorry for long post, hungover today so prob talking !
hope this helps sweetie x

hi,
yeah it does help thanks
i suppose it depends on what we are doing. i know the bridesmaid feels the same way i do about going out, but i think she feels that we should do something more, like going to the pub (which i think is bloody boring unless there is a dance floor) she thinks that ppl are going to think we are boring, and that its not the done thing i told her to bugger off and if ppl didn't like it they could have their own hen night, i don't see why it should be what other ppl want or expect when i hate pubs and clubs. (i really really hate them actually)
i am hoping to come to some agreement that suits us all
