I was wondering, we've mostly talked about what dresses we are having, but what about the ones you nearly chose?

I very nearly had this one:
and this was also a close runner:
The first one I loved when I first tried it on, it was the second dress I tried so it was exciting. But then the second time it didn't look nearly as good and the colour seemed to wash me out. The second one is a simpler version of the dress I chose. It is lovely but I like the extra sparkle of mine.

Hey,
This is the dress I very very nearly had!
Tried it on quite a few times and had a date to go back and order it, but then suddenly one day I woke up and thought, oh no, that is not the dress, so I had to go shopping all over again, but found my dress that day!!

Nearly had this one...

Oh that's lovely. This is what makes dress shopping so hard!

Great thread Seona!!

This is the one I nearly had (and it is beautiful!)- I actually found my 'dream dress' at a fraction of the cost - but I would have been very happy getting married in this....

Oh that's very elegant MissVix, I do prefer the one you chose though.

Funny how many people have Maggies. I might have to look at the Maggie site properly and decide what I would have chosen if I'd gone for a Maggie. I doubt I could find one I love more than my current dress though.

Wave
The dress I nearly choose was a Maggie, and the one I am having is a Maggie. It really wasnt a conscience decision..... the shop I went to had ALL makes.....
Being a larger girl the Maggie dresses were the only ones that felt like they were holding me 'in' and 'up'!!! Hahaha Hahaha Hahaha

I don't think they had Maggies in any of the shops I went to. I think if they had then this might have been a strong contender Maggie Dress or maybe this

Oh but this is gorgeous too!

Just as well I didn't have to choose, I would have been there forever. And probably still would have ended up with my dress.
