Hello everyone
Just wondered if anyone else had been to ante-natal classes and if so what did you think of them? Me and my lovely hubbie went to one today and I was hoping it may help me to feel better about the birth and becoming a new mum, but if I'm honest it didn't really help at all! The rooms seemed okay and they do have 3 birthing pools that they encourage you to use but I'm still getting the impression that I won't really know what I want until I go through it. I suppose all I want is some reassurance that everything is going to be okay- which I'm sure it will! Anyway- it's too late now- it will have to come out somehow!!! :emoticon('Big Grin'Wink

We went to some brilliant parent classes run by midwives that have worked in our area for over 25 years. They were very helpful, we don't get shown round our maternity ward as too many people had complained it sounded like a slaughter house!!! I must admit listening to the giving birth bit made me a bit queasy but I got lots of helpful tips and met some lovely couples.
