Hi

I am 9 weeks pregnant and abit confused.

I have lost 2lb in 2 weeks, I don't know where from because my boobs have gone huge!

I haven't been hungry or enjoying food very much and get full very quickly. I have made sure that i have been eating. I have totally gone off sweets and chocolate that i used to love, and have started loving fruit. I am eating about 9 pieces of fruit a day and mini meals too. I haven't even had morning sickness which would explain the weight loss

I have read that it wont make any difference as baby will get what it needs from me anyway, and its not like im a size zero, in fact far from it being a curvy size 14

has anyone else experience this during pregnancy?

I ended up weighing the same after 9 months as I did when I fell pregnant with my 2nd child and I also went of chocolate Eeeeek (very unusual for me).

It will just be the healthy eating and the changes in hormones, nothing to worry about. Enjoy your pregnancy Bouquet

Wave I lost weight during my first pregnancy. i did have morning sickness though. although saying this like you i went off alot of food and just ate raw fruit and veg, mostly carrots and tomatoes beetroot and onion!!! Big Grin
Your right that the baby won't suffer, as it gets all it's nutrients etc from your body. This is probably partly to do with why you are losing weight. My midwife explained this to me. because you arn't eating much the baby will draw what it needs straight from you and therfore you will lose weight because the baby is getting it all instead of you. does that make sense???

Thanks for your messages, that does make sense, and i think thats the reason people are usually so tired during the 1st 12 weeks.

its just really weird. I am going to keep an eye on it and just make sure i eat/drink everything i need to so baby gets its vitamins and minerals he he.

Think i'm going to go home and have a big tea Knife and Fork

I love being pregnant Big Grin

Weighed myself yesterday and lost 1lb since i weighed myself a few days before....

Spoke to my mum and found out that my mum lost 2 stone when she was pregnant with me - I was healthy enough with no childhood problems, i am abit stupid now, but thats nothing to do with them ha ha... Hopefully what she went through with her perfect pregnancy with me (her words) will be the same for me.

Fingers crossed he he

Hi Sweetie Wave

With all 3 of my pregnancies i dropped a dress size by the time i was 8 months pregnant, my 1st pregnancy i went from a size 12 to 10 and with the 2nd i went from a size 14 to 12 and my 3rd one i went from a 16 to 14 (notice the pattern Hahaha ) and i never suffered with any morning sickness, i'd just feel sick once in a while usually when i was eating a meal, but i loved all sweet stuff and jelly sweets. Within a few months of giving birth i'd started putting some weight back on even though i was watching what i was eating as i was breast feeding Rolls eyes but luckily i've stayed a size 14 since having the last one 3 years ago Big Grin
