I have been since i was 16 years old and now Im 27 Sad Ive been waiting for the right time though and Ive wanted to live a bit before I have babies.

Im now getting married in Sept and yet I dont finsish my masters degree until next April and then me and my partner want to save up for a year and a half to travel the world for a year. I cant see this happening with a baby.

But i could be 31 by the time I have done all this. Im scared beacuse, my mum after having me and my brother had to have a hsyterectomy because of clots in her pregancy to my brother. Im worried that 31 is too late to start having kids as I would like about 3 what do you all think?

Hi, like you I have been broody since a young age. I am 37 and my 1st baby is due in 12 weeks time. 31 is still young these days. I plan on hopefully having another one.
Don't worry too much.

I am 40 and expecting my first baby in October.

27 is still so young and another few years waiting til the right time will be fine, don't worry about your mums troubles, my mum had a hysterectomy at a really young age too (32) it doesn't mean that you will too.

It's entirely up to yourself what age you have children. If you want to travel and spend some quality time with your husband after the wedding then you shouldn't feel bad about it! 31 is a really late age to be having children, and you can always leave shortish gaps between them if you plan on having more.

I had children very young (like VERY young) and when I met my husband I already had two kids. Although I wouldn't give them up for the world there is part of me that wishes myself and my husband had had a little time as a couple and not just as parents.
Enjoy the time you both have together, and don't worry about your age. Keep yourself fit and eat well and look forward to the day when you'll have a little person around! Until then, enjoy the time you DON'T have a little person around Hahaha Hahaha Hahaha Hahaha Hahaha

I wouldn't worry I am 31 my GP told me I have a good few years left to start as first I need to bet this illness and sort myself.

but we are always talking about it but at the mo not safe for us to try our time will come.

enjoy the time as I can assure you its hard getting things done with a wee person as well.
Having looked after children for 12 years I sure did enjoy my days off. which as a mum I wouldn't be able to.
