Hiya Wave
i was just wondering if anybody has ever tried the pregnancy kits from Poundland? and if so are they any good?
i've used one of the test kits today and it was negative but for the past few days i've had all the symptoms of being pregnant and i feel different too, i was due on today and think that maybe i've done the test too soon?? i've already got 3 kiddies and feel like i should already know, but my pregnancies with each child was different.

Wave I didn't have them from poundland but mine cost £1.00 for two from savers and they both said positive and where accurate. I didn't do any others. they basically all test for a hormone in your pee so can't see that the expensive ones make much difference to cheaper version myself.

Hi Kerry
I used them and the first one I did showed negative but then I used another the next morning and it was positive! It was a bit strange but maybe the day before the pregnancy hormone levels weren't quite high enough to show up.
I'd retest maybe in a couple of days!
Good luck either way you are hoping the test turns out Thumbs up

Awww, thats so cute, good luck with trying Big Grin

I was 2 days late just after my wedding and to be honest i didn't expect the test to be positive, i thought with all the running round ect i was going to come on late, plus i had period like pains so was expecting it any minute, i went and bought 3 pregnancy tests, just incase the 1st one said negative and i hadn't come on a few days later.

I did the cheap one first that cost me 79p and it came up really clear with the second line to say i was pregnant, this was about 3pm in the afternoon too. I was really excited and decided to do a second test just to be sure, i did the second test the next morning when hormone levels are at the highest, and used a test that had cost me £5.99 and it said negative, there wasn't even a faint second line.... Confused i used the 3rd test that cost £3.49 using the same wee sample and it said positive??? Strange!
