Orla
How annoying for you having to wait till 14 weeks. It sounds like your system is as bad as the one over here!

yep it is... I start second trimestre tomorrow YAY! Will show you my scan on Tuesday. I try not to complain but I have to say I feel really sick today, I wish the nausea would just end, I can't seem to eat anything, everything just makes me feel sick... Hope all is well with you.

Oh dear . I managed to completely escape the sickness although have been waking up feeling queasy with headaches every morning lately. I think perhaps I need to eat more during the day.
I hope your sickness goes off soon, I think many women report it gone by about 14/15 weeks.
Looking forward to seeing your scan pic

Thought I should do an update!
I'm 32 weeks now and had a consultant/midwife appointment yesterday. The baby is still measuring small but growing nicely and is about 3.5 pounds now so on track for about 6-6.5 pounds at birth. Annoyingly s/he is breech but there is still time to move!
My iron levels are borderline anaemic and also I've got to go on Monday morning to have a glucose tolerance test for gestational diabetes as my blood had raised sugar levels. I'm almost certain though that was caused by me drinking Lucozade about 20 mins before my blood were taken to get the baby to be more active at the 4D scan!
I feel like I've been pregnant forever now, really can't wait for the baby to be born!
