Hi All
Thought I would do an update on my pregnancy so far! I'm 29 weeks now so hopefully only another 11 ish weeks to go!
My bump is growing but is not particularly big. The baby is measuring quite small but that's to be expected given I'm small myself and hubby and I weren't big babies. It's estimated that the baby will probably be around 6.5lbs.
The baby is quite active particularly in an evening and when I go to bed. Some of the movements I feel are so weird!!

One thing is that we've dropped off the NHS and gone for private cae. The standard of maternity care I received under the NHS was appalling and included never seeing the same midwife, not being able to contact anybody at all when I needed advice after problems early on an them getting my blood test results all wrong and giving me 2 different blood groups! My private care is so much better and although expensive, we're considering it money well spent!

Anyway, here are a few scan pictures.
This is baby at the 12 week scan:

I've had a 4D scan today so here are a couple of pictures from that including one of the baby actually grinning to itself!

Hey Mammy Laura Big Grin Wave

Lovely thread, its so nice to see a pic of Baby Buckley at last!!

Did you find out the sex at the 4D scan? My best friend had a 4D scan when she was pregnant and the pictures were just amazing - when Abbie was born she actually looked like the pictures, might sound obvious but nobody really expected that she would look exactly the same as her scan pics.

Very excited for you Big Grin Boiiiiiiing Clap Boiiiiiiing Big Grin

Wow Laura! Fab scan pics.

Sorry to hear about your problems with the NHS - we are having something similar with the Spanish version - I'm getting my first scan next week at 14 weeks which is terrible, and only then because I complained. They say it's because there's lots of pregnancies at the moment!! No excuse... We will definitely be going private with the next baby.

Hope it's all going well and good luck with the next 11 weeks! Heart

Thanks all for the kind comments Wave

Chel and Aimz - we've not found out the sex, decided to leave it as a surprise! We could have found out at the 20 week scan as well.

Aimz - I've heard that the babies look just like the 4D pics, I can't wait until s/he is born now to see!
