Hi Ladies,
After a wonderfull wedding on saturday in gorgeous sunshine, my Hubby (still can't get used to saying that) whisked me off to a surprise 5* luxury London Hotel for a short honeymoon break as we have 2 small kids and my mum could only look after them for a few days.
Any way - hotel was gorgeous and we had a lovely evening and Sunday was great - just relaxing and enjoying each other.
Monday, we set off by Bus to teh Tower of London and St Katherines Docks where Kevin proposed to me and we had booked lunch etc to reaaly enjoy and get a bit nostalgic!
Any way sitting on the bus and all of a sudden I have the most horrific pain in my mouth.
I really don't remember what happened, but apparently our bus had crashed into the back of another bus and I smashed my face on the hand rail upstairs. All of my teeth were knocked up into the top of my mouth and there was blood everywhere.
I can remember feeling the holes where my teeth should have been and just crying in shock. A few other people where hurt as well, but mainly whiplash like my husband.
I was rushed to hospital where everyone was so good and helpful and nice - but this just made me cry even more - after feeling so beautiful on saturday and after - I now felt like a freak.
Even now I can't stop crying! The hospital operated on me Tuesday morning and managed to pull my teeth down into place - but they are all split and the enamel has come off. I have a brace holding them in place and can only drink/eat through a straw for the next 6 weeks and still need major dental work.
I know it could have been worse, and I should be thankful that I am OK, but I have waited 9 years to get married and I just feel so low

OMG!! you poor sod
No wonder you are feeling upset, I think anyone in your situation would do. Try not to worry too much though, the dental work available these days is amazing and i'm sure it wont be long before they have you back looking beautiful again

Oh no - that's terrible.
So sorry about this, and it is completely understandable that you are down, and in shock.
Lots of big hugs.xxx

Oh my gosh! That's awful. I'm really sorry to hear that. Dentists can do wonderful things. You'll soon be back to normal. Hope you have a speedy recovery.

Bugger me What a truly terrible thing to happen. I really really feel for you.
As MrsTrott says, dental work is wonderful these days, and although it may take a while I am sure you will look wonderful at the end. The next feww weeks and months are going to be pretty stressful for you, so make sure you get enough support from family and friends.
I took a peek at your weddingpath, and not only did it look a wonderful day but you are a very pretty girl, and will look even more wonderful when this horrible time has passed.
If you ever need to chat, then feel free to email

Forgot to say yesterday, make sure you claim for compensation. You deserve it after all you've been through and dental work isn't cheap.
