Hey Girlies,

After a bit of help. I have been asked by one of my sisters clients to do the Make up for her and her bridesmaids on her wedding day, and I'm not sure how much to charge, bearing in mind she will provide her own foundation but I will do the rest. If you don't mind me asking how much did you pay for your make up on the day? I did my own and the wedding party so I haven't got a clue!

Hi Hollie Wave

I live in Cornwall and I paid £20 for each make up. Me, bridesmaids & mums. I think I got a bit of a bargain though as I had all the hair done by the same company. They were not a specialist 'wedding' service either (as we all know that can add the £££s on)

Whilst doing my research, I think the most expensive one I saw was services offered for £55 for the bride on the day (no practice or anything included).

Hope that helps you out a bit.

XX

Hi Hollie,

Hope you are well?

Where in Surrey are you based?

I am not getting married until March 2011 Aww, shy Aww, shy

But I am potentially looking for someone to do my make-up and potentially my three BMS too on the day.

I am based in Beckenham - message me if you can provide a rough quote hon?

Thanks xx

Ive seen on place charging £55 which includes a trial and one lady charging £270! So it varies greatly! Sorry that doesnt help does it!

Tbh if it were me, £55 is the max I could pay for myself.

Thanks

Really given me something to think about.. I don't want to rip the bride off as weddings do enough of that anyway but I also don't really want to sell myself short as I am having to take a day off work and travel back to Essex to do it..have to have a real think.

Victoria, I am in Surbiton. I can let you know as soon as I work something out but to let you know, I am not trained..just have a bit of a knack..hence the reason why I insist on trials and getting properly colour-matched for foundation as I don't hold many different shades.

Better get the brushes cleaned and ready!
