Sam posted this on the main wedding page, but I thought I'd pop it here as well. This was brought up at the WP meet and we talked about having a special WP one to raise money for charity. Do we want to try and organise something?

Take a Break is holding the third national wedding dress day on Friday 29 August 2008. Wear your wedding dress at work, in the supermarket, at party or wherever you choose, and get people to sponsor you for details go to Wedding Dress Day.

It would be good to do something all together, a big party somewhere. Not sure how to go about organising it, I'm not great at these things!

We need to see who is up for it and then see what area is easiest to arrange a meet up.

I am on summer holiday so I would be up for doing it and I can get into London or the surrounding area. What about everyone else?

I would love to do it again. We could get some publicity for it. I am based in Cheshire so anywhere in the North West would be great for me. I already have a charity in mind, Diabetes UK as I have recently been diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes. Any money raised could be divided between different causes that we chose to support. I am happy to do some organising if anyone is interested in a North West meet.

Wedding dress day sounds like a plan - hopefully I'll have lost the person I appear to have eaten since the wedding by then too! Hahaha
